Use of Collected Information

The Avient Corporation uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience in our site, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the site or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users. Avient Corporation does not share user lists with outside parties, including advertisers, but may share the information within its family of companies (Avient’s subsidiaries and affiliates). We use tracking information to determine which areas of our site are most (and least) popular based on traffic to those areas. This helps us continue to build a better service for our users.

Opt-Out Policy

The Avient Corporation gives users options wherever necessary and practical. Users may choose not to participate in certain interactive areas, including the MSDS or Technical Service Report portions of this site, which alleviates the need to collect any information from the user.

Safe Harbor Compliance

Avient Corporation complies with the safe harbor standards developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce in connection with the European Union Directive on Data Protection. The principal information collected by Avient that is subject to the safe harbor standards is information about Avient’s employees used to administer the employment relationship. Avient employees seeking more information on Avient’s Privacy Policy should refer to the policy statement on the Company's intranet site. Avient also may collect information from customers and suppliers necessary to conclude business transactions, including name, address, phone number, e-mail address and credit-related information.

Unless required by law or regulation, Avient will not disclose personal information to third parties that are not acting on behalf of Avient or use such information for purposes that are incompatible with the purposes for which it was collected without first giving the person who provided the information the right to "opt out" from the disclosure or use.

Your California Privacy Rights
